FAQ

  • Do you take insurance?

I currently accept Aetna and Cigna insurance plans. I partner with Alma, a benefits checker and claims processing service that supports my practice with billing your insurance plan and advocating for you if any problems arise. While this service will check your benefits, ultimately it is your responsibility to understand and confirm your plan offerings.

I am also available as a cash pay, out-of-network provider. For cash pay clients, I partner with Mentaya, a service that streamlines getting reimbursed for your therapy sessions through out-of-network benefits. Mentaya is great if you: • Have out-of-network benefits • Feel overwhelmed by superbills and insurance • Have submitted superbills but failed to get any reimbursement • Simply want to skip the hassle of paperwork! Please reach out with any questions.

  • Do you see clients in person? How about telehealth?

I see clients both in person and virtually. This flexibility allows me to see clients in whatever way works best for them. Have a last minute schedule change and need to move from in person to telehealth? No problem! This can be switched at the click of a button. I do complete an assessment to determine you are an appropriate fit for telehealth if that is your preferred method of treatment.

  • Can I bring my baby to session?

Yes! I know childcare can be difficult to find, so I do not want this to be a barrier to you seeking treatment. However, in order for you to get the most out of your treatment and to ensure you remain the focus, I do not allow babies over 1 year into session.

  • What is your fee?

I charge $175 for a standard 50-minute session, and $225 for an extended 90-minute session.

  • Do you have a sliding scale?

I have a small number of sliding scale openings for clients with limited resources. Feel free to contact me with questions.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

Clients must provide 24 hour notice of cancellations. I provide a one-time grace cancellation. Clients who do not provide 24 hour notice will be charged the full session fee.
